How I Work With Families

I work in partnership with parents to understand each child’s unique needs and create a tailored sensory-based movement plan.

Step 1: Request a Consultation

Fill out and submit the Consultation Request form. You will receive a payment link. The consultation fee is $200 USD. If your financial circumstances do not permit this, let me know on the form and we may be able to come to an arrangement.

Step 2: Fill out the Questionnaire

Before our first meeting, I will ask you to complete a questionnaire about your child, your questions and concerns.

Step 3: Short Observational Videos

In some cases, I may ask you to record short videos with a phone that allow me to observe your child. I will be specific about what I need to see. In some cases I will provide demo videos for you to emulate.

Step 4: Personalized Home Program

Based on everything I’ve learned about your child, I will create a sensory-based movement program to support sensory integration and neuromotor development, which will help ease the challenges that may be affecting learning, behavior, or emotional regulation. Using rhymes, movement activities, obstacle courses, and other forms of creative play, your child receives the sensory input they need while improving coordination, cognitive skills, and emotional expression—all in a joyful and natural way.

We will meet via Zoom to discuss the program and any questions you may have. The program is practiced at home on a daily basis for a minimum of 6 weeks.

Activities are provided in video and written format. Please note that the videos are for parent learning only and are not to be watched by or with your children. Part of the success of this program is that the activities are done together with your child, creating an opportunity to connect through sensory and movement activities.

At your request, I can collaborate and schedule a consultation with your child’s teachers to offer classroom and school strategies.

During the six-week period of the home program I can answer questions via weekly emails.

Step 4: Optional Follow-Up

You may schedule follow-up consultations to review your child’s progress and decide whether additional support is needed.
